The event will be an information and Q&A session about the JET Programme.

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is the Japanese Government's official and long-running programme of international exchange and English-teaching in Japan for UK graduates. Applications for the 2026 JET programme are now open until 6th November this year.

There are 2 positions available on the JET Programme:

Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) and Co-ordinator for International Relations (CIR). For ALTs, knowledge of Japanese or previous teaching experience is not required. We welcome applicants from all degree subjects.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This event is mainly targeted at UK nationals who can apply to the Embassy in the UK. You MUST be a British Passport holder for this scheme. For non-UK citizens, please refer to the Japanese Embassy website of your home country.
