Eisteddfod Grangetown will be a one day, community-led celebration of Welsh culture and language showcasing traditional and contemporary Welsh cultural expression through art, music, poetry, dance, and bilingual engagement.

Eisteddfod Grangetown responds to a direct call from Grangetown’s community for more Welsh language and cultural activities, while strengthening community pride and inclusivity in one of Cardiff’s most diverse wards.

This event will be delivered in partnership between Community Gateway, Y Gymdeithas Gymraeg Grangetown, Dysgu Cymraeg Caerdydd, Undeb Myfyrwyr Cymraeg Caerdydd and Grange Pavilion to embed bilingual practice and showcases local talent in music, art, and poetry.

Throughout the day there will be a full programme of bilingual performances, literary events, showcases, and Welsh taster sessions to normalise Welsh in everyday life and inspire new learners.
