The Annual Hodge Centre public lecture talk by Professor Oliver Howes - How will we get better medicines for mental illness? Some lessons from schizophrenia.

There is a massive gap between the need for better treatments for mental illnesses and the small number of treatments that have been developed in recent years. Schizophrenia is a useful example of the challenges in developing medicines that work in new, better ways. The lecture will discuss some of these challenges and potential approaches, with examples from Professor Howes's work.
