Fundraising evening in support of the Cardiff Christmas Dinner, an annual event in that welcomes care experienced young people to spend Christmas Day in a warm, joyous environment.

Come to our fundraising evening in support of the Cardiff Christmas Dinner. The dinner is an annual event in that welcomes care experienced young people from Cardiff and the surrounding area so that they can spend Christmas Day in a warm, joyous environment with other care experienced young people. Without this volunteer-run event, often care experienced young people – some as young as 16 – have to spend the day alone, sometimes in accommodation with no cooking equipment.

This is the fourth year that volunteers from Cardiff have run the event, and we would love to share with you some of the joy we have experienced, but also give you the opportunity to learn more about why this is necessary. And of course to raise money to help the event happen!

Schedule:

17:00 – 17:30 – short presentation about the Christmas Dinner initiative and feedback from previous years
17:30 – 18:15 – choir performance from Voices from Care Cymru choir
18:15 – 19:30 – raffle draw, quiz winners announced, and networking

We will also have a jumper swap, a bake sale, mulled wine, and many other goodies from 4pm.
