Run the Cardiff Half Marathon with #TeamCardiff and fundraise for Cardiff University research.

On 5 October 2025 the Cardiff Half Marathon will return to the streets of the capital with thousands of runners taking on 13.1 miles on one of the UK’s flattest courses.

Join #TeamCardiff, the University’s fundraising team and choose to fundraise for either Cardiff’s neuroscience and mental health, or cancer research. By joining #TeamCardiff you’ll be supporting the next generation of researchers, to help accelerate life-changing discoveries to improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for people living with a wide range of conditions.

If you already have your own place, or would prefer to set your own fundraising target, we’d love you to join #TeamCardiff! You will receive all the same support as our charity place runners (including your free #TeamCardiff running top), just without the minimum fundraising target.
