Everyone back to the Woody! Kick off your Big Reunion Weekend Saturday afternoon with a laid-back indie session.

On Saturday 18 July, a vinyl records day disco will be held at the Woodville pub between 2pm and 6pm – the perfect warm up for the evening’s Big Reunion Weekend festivities in the Students’ Union, which begin at 7pm.

Warm up at The Woody will see Shindig DJs, aka 1996 Journalism alum Chris Fidler (BA 1996), spin the platters that matter.

Chris, who booked the DJs and band for the hugely successful 1990s reunion in the SU in 2024, will be playing pop, alternative and dancey stuff, largely from the 80s and 90s.

Music will be piped throughout the pub’s two levels and the garden. This event is for all alumni of Cardiff University and its predecessor institutions.

Free entry but please register in advance to help the venue manage numbers.
