Dr Thomas Nicholls will provide an overview of the economic and fiscal context for the draft 2026-27 Welsh Government budget, highlighting key trends in economic output, productivity, household living standards and the labour market. Professors Melanie Jones and Max Munday from Cardiff Business School and the Wales Productivity Forum will join a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities ahead for the Welsh Economy.
