International Women's Day 2026 Celebrating Women in Performance and Composition
This concert showcases musical works written, directed, arranged and performed by women, as well as pieces where a female character takes centre stage. Current composers, songwriters and musicians are represented in pop and art song, jazz and chamber music, and include Ella Fitzgerald, Galina Ustvolskaya, Billie Eilish, Eleanor Kercher, Isabella Loxston and Qingzhao Li. Joining our students will be special guests, the Oasis One World Choir (a community project that brings together asylum seekers and refugees) led by Laura Bradshaw and the OOWC team.
With well-known and well-loved compositions alongside world premieres, this will be an event that offers an artistically diverse and inspiring experience for all
