Dr María Fernández-Parra (Swansea University) will present new insights into terminology management practices, based on her recently published book, "Terminology Management for Translators." The seminar will provide valuable guidance rooted in rigorous, theoretically-driven and empirically-based findings, focusing on how translators can effectively acquire, store, and utilize their terminological resources. It will also address and dispel common misconceptions about terms and terminology work.

The event is open to all and will be of interest to anyone working with translation, including students, professionals, researchers, and academics. It will consist of a talk by Dr Fernández-Parra followed by a Q&A session. Refreshments will be provided.
