Nurture your wellbeing this winter with art, culture, performance and hand-on workshops and explore multicultural approaches to health, resilience, and community care.

Step into winter with Lìdōng (立冬), the Chinese solar term marking the season’s beginning, and discover how cultural traditions can nurture balance, health, and community.

Join us to explore how art and cultural practices support self-care in challenging times through hands-on workshops, inspiring talks, tea tasting sessions, and dynamic Taiko drumming performances.

The event offers a space for reflection, creativity, and connection in an exploration of cultural practices - opening up intercultural and intergenerational conversations about physical, mental, and digital wellbeing.

This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 6-15 November 2025. Being Human is led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
