Join Cardiff University Chamber Choir & Collegium as they transport you back to Mozart in Vienna.
Cardiff University Chamber Choir is made up of 25-30 singers and has enjoyed a range of performance opportunities, including a tour to Malaysia in 2023, a commercial CD recording in 2024 to critical acclaim and a concert to begin a partnership with University of Wyoming Collegiate Chorale in 2026.
Cardiff University Collegium is made up of soprano and alto voices and an ensemble of strings, harp and flutes. Their name change from Baroque Ensemble has allowed them to cover repertoire from living composers as well as items from seventeenth and eighteenth century.
Chamber Choir and Collegium, under the direction of Dr Peter Leech, will be presenting a programme of music to celebrate ‘Christmas in Vienna’ which will include composers Isabella Leonarda, Ola Gjeilo, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Giovanni Antonio Costa, in keeping with his emphasis on diversity and inclusivity in his programmes and research.
